April 2008 - ENLARGEMENT OF OUR MACHINE PARK: new 5-axle machine
This month, MAYPE has received a new 5-axle mechanisation center. We therefore now possess two 5-axle machines, for a total of 8 machanisation centers and 4 numerical control lathes, at the service of our clients to offer them always greater, better quality and precise production.
This is an UPRIGHT MECHANISATION CENTER CNC DECKEL MAHO 100 MONOBLOK with 5 axles numerically controled with HEIDENHAIN I TNC – 530 and equipped with carrusel of 32 tools and capacity for 1150x710x710mm.

November 2007 – MIDEST 07
TALLERES MECANICOS MAYPE, S.L. attended for the first time the MIDEST, which took place last November, 2007.
MIDEST is a world reference in the industry and, as a mechanization company, gave us the opportunity to meet high quality clients and providers from around the world.
We hope to carry on attending the event in the future and improve our services in it. |

October 2007 – BCN RAIL ‘07
TALLERES MECANICOS MAYPE was present at the BCN RAIL EXPO, which took place in Barcelona between the 2nd and 5th of October.
It has been the first edition of a new exposition and with an eminent expansion. A great opportunity to support the existing commercial relations inside the sector and to announce ourselves among other companies of the railway sector.
Soon, you will find us in the MIDEST EXPO in Paris from the 13th to the 16th of November. |

June 2007 - LE BOURGET.
Between the 18th and 24th of June was celebrated the 47th International Paris Air Show “LE BOURGET”. Talleres Mecanicos Maype was present thanks to a joint participation with BAiE (Aeronautical and Space of Barcelona), association of which we are member.
During these days, there was the participation of companies of aerospace and air transport as well as the national defence industries more important worldwide.

March 2007 - Maquitec 2007
Talleres Mecanicos Maype, S.L., as a company of mechanization of high precision, was present in the last edition of the Industrial Show “Maquitec”, which took place in Barcelona between the 20th and 24th of March.
During these days, a team of professionals of Maype attended to the consultations of all those who visited us, to whom from here we want to be grateful for their assistance. |

El passat mes d'octubre del 2.006, TALLERES MECANICOS MAYPE, SL va rebre de la Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona i al Palau Llotja de Mar, una placa commemorativa en motiu del nostre cinquanta aniversari.
L'empresa va ser constituïda l'any 1.955 i actualment manté el mateix caràcter familiar dels seus inicis.
Aquests cinquanta anys són el resultat del esforç de professionals que formen part de la nostra empresa i del esperit de constant innovació.

Railgrup Member.
Talleres Mecánicos Maype, S. L. is characterized in the diversity of sectors on which we participate: aeronautic, railroad, sanitary, automation, valves and moulds, tools and prototypes, machines and robotics. One of the sectors on which we have special presence is on the railroad.
That's why we are in a constant search of new techniques and technology to be able to continue on the vanguard and be able to satisfy our costumers' demands as well as the attraction of new ones.
The most important way to obtain our goal in this sector is the Railgrup, who aboards in a professional way, studies and research for the improvement of the railroad industry.
Its mains goals are promoting, representing and defending the interest of its members. Railgrup was created with the support of the Genaralitat de Catalunya trough the Department of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

50th anniversary celebration
.
The past November 29th was Talleres Mecánicos MAYPE, S. L. 50th anniversary. This event wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the support of our collaborators.
And because of this, we wanted to celebrate surrounded and shearing in our location with all of whom are part of Talleres Mecánicos MAYPE, S. L.
We would like to thank you all for your participation, hoping we could shear and serve many years to come.

December 2005 - Maquitec 2005
The last October, and for the second year in a row, we have participated in the Maquitec Industrial Exposition in its 2005 edition.
For Talleres Mecánicos MAYPE, Maquitec has been a great success and for that reason we would like to thank all the people who visited our stand.
In addition, this edition had a special meaning for us, given that this year is our 50th anniversary.

50 years of Talleres Mecánicos MAYPE
Talleres Mecánicos MAYPE S.L. was born in 1955 and actually we keep the same familiar character of our beginnings.
During these 50 years they have managed to acquire an important

April 2005 - Presentation of a new engineering department
From the beginning of the year we have the technical support of external engineering collaborators taken charge of the study and development of prototypes, tooling and new designs. Also, we realize studies for the optimization of the existing product (machines and instruments) for our production.
With this new department, we try to give a more complete and effective service to our costumers.

March 2005 - Adhesion to Baie
From last March 4th, our company has adhered to the BAiE association , in charge of the promotion of the the aeronautical and spatial sector in Barcelona.
Barcelona Aeronautical and Spatial was created in 2000 following the Barcelona's Mayor's initiative and with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya (by means of the Dep. of Industry and the CIDEM) and the Spanish government (across the Department of Industry)
. BAiE's principal aim is to promote the development of an industrial aerospace fabric in the area of Barcelona; defining a common policy among the different members of the group in order to catch different economic activities and cooperating with other important regions inside the sector in the rest of the world.

February 2005 - Third year consecutive to renovation of the ISO norm of Quality 9001:2000.
For 5 years and with the purpose of recognizing the maturity and the efficiency of our System of Quality; to confirm our will to evolve every day more depending on the expectations of our clients, to Workshops Maype different ISO procedure of Quality have been granted.
In these moments we have the ISO norm 9001:2000, corresponding to "Requirements of the System of Management of the Quality", which us has been renewed for the third year consecutive.
The next aim that we want to reach in quality terms is to obtain the European Norm 9100:2003, specialized in the aerospace series.

December 2004 - Industrial Aeroespacial
A score of Catalan companies of the aerospace sector, between which one was finding Talleres Mecánicos Maype , has formed a part of the commercial mission that has returned from Toulouse and that has been organized by the Cambra de Comerç of Barcelona and the Generalitat by his respective presidents, Miquel Valls and Pasqual Maragall, to the front. Also there was the mayor of Barcelona, Joan Clos.
The mission has visited the plant of assembly of Airbus and one came out in photographs symbolically opposite to the new model A-380, of whom the Catalan companies have made 40 % of the industrial tooling proceeding from Spain.

September 2004- New Machinerie
Our commitment to obtain the best Quality and service has made possible the purchase of a new machinery: a MECHANIZED CENTRE DECKEL MAHO , with 5 axes driven by numerical control HEIDENHAIN TNC 530 , equiped with corrousel of 32 tools with capacity for 1080x710x710mm. With this, we pretend to obtain the maximum precision and reliability.
